IC 2003 is a little PN in Perseus, very far from us. It's a very little object, representing a difficult target for visual observers; only pushing at highest magnifications we can make some interesting observation. It shows a vague anular shape with heterogenous brightness distribution. The ring contains two evident condensations, giving impression of a perfect rounded planetary nebula.
On the physics way, it's hard to give more informations. This nebula is insufficiently studied by astronomers and precise space-kinematic-measurements have never been carried on.

Interesting level: ****
